I created the postcards to disseminate the ideas set forth in the collage work – easily and frequently. They cover the issues of transportation, the environment, travel, shopping, memberships, housing, health, friends and family, politics, solicitations, work, money, and computing. At the end of the day, though, I realized I was just creating more crap.

In 2014, Exploded VIEW gallery of Tucson, Arizona invited me to participate in a group show entitled, Altered Postcards. The gallery sent me 20 postcards and asked me to modify them in any manner. What intrigued me was the written text on the postcards; in the words of artist Simon Donovan, the postcards a sort of precursor to the banal Facebook statements about our urban lives.
